Office de Tourisme des Coteaux du Jura

In Château-Chalon (Jura), the Maison de la Haute Seille is an interactive museum on three floors about the Haute Seille territory, which presents :
- The heritage (landscapes and buildings) : among them Baume-les-Messieurs, Château-Chalon, two villages labelled «characterful villages» and two of France’s «most beautiful villages»
- The terroir : with explanations about Jura wines in a vaulted cellar. The various interactive barrels placed along the walls allow the visitor to discover the different AOC vineyards in the Jura, as well as how these particular wines are made. The film “Le Mystère du Vin Jaune” is then shown on a large screen.

Real place of discovery, an exhibition takes place in the Maison de la Haute Seille each year.
You will also find a dovecote, a garden and a panoramic deck where you can taste Vin Jaune, Vin de Paille, and Macvin…
